Wordles and Upgrade's

A few weeks ago I saw these really cool Wordle things on Reflections in the Snow-Covered Hills.

Here is one based on my last post, which honest, I didn't write just to have a post with lots of cool words in it.

In other blog related news, my brother and I are working on a plot to make it possible for me to use the snazzy new blogger templates without playing guess how CSS works - since, I have too much on my plate to spend much time mastering CSS. However, we did manage to get my cool title banner up, but as you can see its a bit of a hack job, since I haven't replaced the actual banner, just made a picture pop up above it with some help from my brother and fair bit of guesswork based on some CSS samples at this site. That said - things may or may not change in the next 2 weeks - I'm going to try hard to keep the URL the same, and hopefully we won't have a repeat of the last time we played with my blog which required me to reattach every picture I ever posted to their respective posts manually - which took probably in excess of 20 hours over several weeks and we nearly lost the whole thing (not to mention that my URL was snapped up by a BOT and I never managed to retrieve it.....) Well, hopefully this time things will go smoother and the tools at my disposal will be worth any hassle in the interim - but if I disappear off the face of the internet... I promise to claw my way back as soon as possible.

The list above was provided to me from STATSCOUNTER, one of the counters I have linked to my blog. These are the search terms that landed people up on my blog. Priministers still seems to be the leader (it has been for nearly a year now), but "Cat in a box" hasn't made the list at all, when it used to frequently result in hits. Sigh... the priministers post is particularly bad... ah well. I'm glad to see that Hall-Findley made the list. I haven't really been paying attention to politics lately, but I like her. I guess I'm also glad that people searching for info on various ontario parks also actually make the click to check out my blog - there are a lot of hits under those labels, so I guess my titles are decent. "kashechewan tornado" I'm suprised at this one - one because I hadn't heard of a tornado in Kashechewan and I don't recall any posts related to tornados - but hey who knows the mysterious of googling something. Finally, its nice that no less than 10 of the 65 searchers were actually looking for me or my blog. Thats good. I've found some people have left no traces on the internet, while others are easy to find. For better or worse, I'm easy to find on the internet. Which is good, because I move around enough that I'm sometimes hard to track down in the outernet (aka the real world... and I'm glad that any old friend hunting for me via the internet can probably send me an email and reconnect.)

Alright, one more post and then back to work.

Apologies and other missing info

A couple thoughts... First, the series of posts that I made yesterday are missing a text explaination that mysteriously didn't managed to get posted. Well, I'm not sure why, but I'm not surprised since Blogger did register an error when I posted, but I thought it was okay since the picture appeared. I think my comments have been the victem of some spamming - thus I've given in and switched on the word verification security thing that keeps computers from posting inane comments on my blog that link to poker and gambling sites. I'll try and depost them later, but right now I'm heading to my brother's for cards and I won't keep him waiting to figure out how.

As for the missing text - again - I'll have to edit it back in later. But All of the shots were taken on a bike ride that was aimed at getting a gym membership and taking pictures of stormwater infrastructure and swales. (although there seem to be an awful lot of bird and tree pictures in the 264 shots.)

The first (last in the series) is a female redwinged-blackbird - thus the comment on the next picture about her boyfriend :D who didn't appreciate my watching and shotting pictures and told me off quite vocally.

Alright, gotta go... more later.

Cheers,

Jennith
