Last Northern Lights
I won't be seeing the northern lights up here for a while, probably not until next fall. However, maybe by then the solar cycle will hopefully have geared up a bit, although, currently we do actually have sunspots and the solar flux is at a high this year of 74.
In the meantime, we still haven't broken 0 C this year..... weatherman says maybe this Sunday... but so far all previous promises have been broken.

It's been overcast for two weeks here and it looks like it will be for a couple more weeks.
*sigh*
Could be a long wait before I get a chance to photograph them again.
Its just bright until after midnight and then bright again by 230... doesn't leave much of a window of semi darkness for shooting, but we have had so little activity this year... I think I saw them more my last years at Lakeehead.
