Fuzzy Wuzzy was a Plant

Unfortunately I'm not sure what kind of plant... it looks a bit like what I'd expect a lousewort to look like, but I don't recall seeing lousewort leaves. My second guess is some kind of willow... I'll have to look back through my photos.
