A Butterfly for your Thoughts
Here is one of those moments that just need to be photographed. I was taking the speed tour of the field sites with my boss - but the butterfly couldn't be passed up.I feel fluttery and all over the place these days. Can't make up my mind or stop worrying it.
I know I'm slacking off on writing these days I've beem pretty busy with school and thinking.
So, off to bed for now and eventually I'll get some more pictures up.

Quick, for all you lepidopterist out there, is that a Monarch, or one of those pseudo-monarchs?

I'm pretty sure that its a real monarch, rather than a viceroy butterfly. I didn't actually get much of a look at it - just enough to shoot the picture. That said, viceroy's are generally smaller than monarchs and have a slightly different (more black, thicker bordered) wing pattern. So theres my quick and dirty guess. Deed is complete... now I can actually have some life and maybe see people that I know rather than spend hours talking to people with flucutating numbers of daughters, not to mention dollars.
