Crossings
I'm sipping my Kootney Crossing Coffee, contemplating my marking and reading about new forscenic information supporting the idea that Tom Thomson remained buried at Canoe Lake. Strangely, it has become October and the temperatures are set to become chilly and we are supposed to have wind 60 km/h gusting to 80 km/h this evening. Its the crossing of seasons, the crossing of thresholds between temperature and light patterns and the crossing of my eyes as I try to decide between eating left over roast and squash for breakfast or a bowl of cereal.
Its a new flavour of coffee for me, and it smells incredible. It tastes good, but it has a definite flavour that feels almost too much like dessert for regular breakfast coffee. I'll have to consider. I'm also at the point when I'm running out of my stash of photos - its been so cloudy lately and I've been pretty busy too - I'm hoping to get a tonne of marking done so I can at least play outside for a little bit.
