Hey Jennith - thanks for your blog - my wife and I are headed your way in August and we appreciate whatever info we can find about life in Baker Lake. What's the coldest weather you've had so far?
Hi Jennith! I really appreciate your blog - my wife and I are making the trek to Baker Lake in August and your blog has helped us prep for the horrors/thrills which will follow.
Just curious - what's the coldest you've experienced so far? We're trying to decide if we need to spend $2K on Canada Goose jackets.
Thanks for your help, and keep blogging!
Jeff
Hi
Welcome up to Baker.
I don't own a Canada Goose Jacket, but I'd like to one day. I do own a hideous 30 year old Sears down parka, but I got a new parka made for me this winter by one of the local sewers.
Feel free to forward any questions you have to me.
Jennith
