Watercolour Clouds

It was one of those days when the clouds were just calling out to be painted using watercolours. As I walked by this beach only 3 days after this picture was taken the lake was an intense steal grey and the sand covered in about 2-4 cm of snow. The wind was blowing fiercely and the waves were crashing on the beach (i.e. its a mostly east wind) and the air was filled with snowflakes. Winter is here now!
